Description

We are passionate about the management and promotion of our beautiful countryside in and around the County Borough of Bridgend, and include Bridgend County Borough Council Countryside and Tourism Service, Kenfig National Nature Reserve, Bryngarw Country Park and many more.  Please join us to keep up to date with all our events and ‘goings-on’ locally that relate to the management of our countryside in Bridgend.

About

Bridgend Countryside Voluntary Warden Events 2015 are brought to you by Bridgend Council's Countryside department.

Our events cover a range of activities from instructor led traditional countryside management techniques (hedge laying and coppicing) to nature walks and talks.

Our events also occur throughout the county borough, visit the what’s green near me pages and look for an event near you. 

 

All events start at 10.00am until 12.00pm unless other wise specified.

All necessary equipment will be provided. Please wear clothing/footwear appropriate to the weather conditions on the day.

No unaccompanied children under 16 please.

 

For Locks Common events, meet at the lifeguard station. For Newton Burrows meet at Beach Road car park.
